"He's the friggin' Devil, Sammy. What're you thinking?!" Dean had Sam by the back of the shirt, dragging him into the motel room. Sam couldn't pull away no matter how hard he tried. "If it was his brother, I wouldn't care. But Lucifer? Is your head on straight?"
"Obviously not if I'm being treated like this," Sam muttered when Dean threw him onto a bed.
"No, you know what? I try my hardest to protect you from that psychopath and everything else, and this is how I'm repaid? Finding you and him-" Dean threw his hands about wildly. "Just- ugh!"
Sam fell back into the mattress when Dean disappeared into the bathroom. It wasn't his fault. The Devil made him do it, literally. Lucifer had jumped him and Sam couldn't stop him. Well, he could have. But why would he?
But then Dean showed up and Sam knew he was in for it. But it wasn't Sam's fault.
"What a blowhard," Lucifer mumbled, appearing next to Sam.
"You want him to kill me?" Sam replied, sitting up. He wasn't in the motel room anymore. The two were in an open field with no sign of civilization in any direction.
"Of course not," Lucifer chuckled, moving closer to Sam.
"Good. Take me back," Sam said, his voice quavering slightly. It was so wrong and really bad, but he liked Lucifer. Heck! He really liked him. Possibly more than liked.
Lucifer frowned. "But Sam," he whined, taking Sam's hand. "I'd like it better if you stayed."
For the Devil, Lucifer was pretty cute. In the golden sunlight of the afternoon in some random field, his hair almost glowed. Sam looked down at their hands then back up into the dark angel's eyes. This was so wrong.
"Dean'll tear into me. The he'll get dad and no one wants that Hell."Sam looked back down, sheepishly pulling his hand away and playing with a blade of grass.
Lucifer sighed and leaned back on his hands. "And if you stay here..." he smiled.
Sam looked back at him and smirked. What was it about angels? Even the bad one seemed good. He just wanted- he didn't know what he wanted. "If I stay, I'm with you."
Lucifer beamed. "Obviously. Which is good." He sat back up, taking Sam's hand again and moving closer.
Sam shrugged and laid his head on Lucifer's shoulder. "And if I go back..."
"You get the fiery rage of Dean raining down on you."
"Yeah," Sam sighed, lacing his fingers with Lucifer's.
Lucifer smiled and kissed the top of Sam's head. "And no one wants that."
The kiss happened so quickly, it almost made Lucifer burn up. He was so shocked by Sam's behavior. Their lips crashed together as the young hunter pinned the angel to the ground, his dark hair falling in their faces. Lucifer relaxed after a moment and wrapped his arms around Sam's neck.
Sam pulled away and smirked. "Plus, there's that," he chuckled, pulling his hair back.
"Damn! Little Sammy Winchester has a wild side! I love it!" Lucifer exclaimed. He then lifted himself up on his elbows and kissed the Winchester, swapping roles and pinning Sam.
"Yeah, I'm definitely not going back," Sam murmured between Lucifer's lips.
"I wouldn't expect you to," the angel sighed, melting back onto Sam's lips.

Trust in you
Sam hated not having Lucifer around but out of respect for Dean Lucifer stayed away although truthfully he too hated being away from Sam. Lucifer occasionally dropped by when Dean would leave either for the bars or on supply runs then leave when the elder Winchester returned. Sam sat in the motel room one evening with Dean looking for a case not expecting to see Lucifer so when there was a knock at the door he was a little surprised. Dean tossed the paper he'd been reading while grabbing for the silver knife he kept under his pillow as Sam cautiously made his way to the door with a gun tucked in the back of his pants. Sam peered out the peeph

Just Stay
Castiel knew Dean didn't sense his presence. The hunter, sat on the end of the bed, thought he was alone with his thoughts, his feelings, and his broken heart. He let his head fall into his hands, Castiel listening as Dean mumbled something under his breath.
"J's want someone here when I need 'em. S'at too hard t'ask?" His voice was choked, pain pushing its way through into his tone, something Castiel couldn't miss.
Dean would never say this out loud to anyone, Castiel knew. The angel felt a little uncomfortable and intrusive as Dean began to shake, holding back what he'd always hidden. The pain, the grief and frustration still wasn't fully

Hey there, Sam, I know we’ve never been all that close
But my love for Dean’s an addiction and I need another dose
I need to get clean

Oh, it’s when he looked at me
And, oh, now I finally see
Oh, I think I’m in love with Dean
But, oh, I’m not quite sure, you see
Not quite sure what that means
Hey there, Castiel, we’ve been pretty down on our luck
And despite the times we’ve sav
